Trodaire (pronounced "trud-ir-eh") (meaning fighter, warrior, or champion) is pronounced similarly to "trud-ir-eh" or "trow-dir-eh," with the stress typically on the first syllable. Phonetically, it is often represented as /ˈt̪ˠɾˠɔdʲəɾʲə/ (Connacht) or simply broken down as trod-air-eh.
